Data corrections
If you’ve found an error on crimecontext.com, please include the specific page URL, the value you believe is wrong, and — if you have one — the record or citation you think is correct. Because our data originates with the FBI Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Crime Data Explorer, the fastest fixes are ones we can verify against that source.
Media inquiries
Journalists and researchers are welcome to cite CrimeContext data. For press inquiries, please email contact@crimecontext.com with your publication name, angle, and deadline. We are happy to provide context, review numbers before publication, or point you to the underlying public record.
Data partnerships
If you run an organization working on U.S. city and county crime rates and have public data you would like us to cover, reach out. We only work with sources we can link and cite.
What we can’t do
CrimeContext is a publication, not an advisory service. We can’t give personalized financial, legal, medical, tax, or engineering advice, and we can’t recommend specific providers. Please see our disclaimer for the full picture.
